Multiple award-winning singer cum songwriter, Gladstone Akwaboah who is recognized by his stage name as Akwaboah, has revealed that he no longer wishes to work with Sarkodie as he wants to step forward solely without the help of his former boss.
Speaking in an interview with with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central, the Highlife gem stated that he worked with Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music for over four years and it’s now time to move on his own.
The two reportedly to have parted ways on a bad note as the business marriage between them ended somewhere in 2019, leaving Akwaboah alone under no label.
Close sources revealed to GistAfrica that, the contract between both parties wasn’t fruitful as Sarkodie could bot bring the musical prowess out of Akwaboah.
The “Hold me down” hitmaker when asked whether he’ll ever return to Sarkodie again for any business terms, said no as Sarkodie has helped him to an extent and felt it was time for him to fly solo and out of the label.
