I Don’t Ever Want To Be A Slave To Any Man – Mzbel On Why She Will Never Marry

Ghanaian Songstress Mzbel born Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah says she will never marry because marriage to her is slavery

According to her, she does not want to be enslaved hence her decision to be a single mother rather than a married woman.

Speaking in an interview on Delay Show, the “16 year old” singer noted that she doesn’t get bothered about the prospects of not settling down because she doesn’t want to be en slaved.

“I don’t want to ever get married, I will never get married, and I just don’t want to be a slave for any man”.

Mzbel says she is a free bird and wants to be that way. She does not want a situation where she would be limited in her choices.

“I want to be free and do things at my will. The reason is simple, my job comes with a lot of issues and even in relationships, it is difficult to get the man to understand how much more marriage”.

She added that she does not have the time to answer questions from a spouse which would come up because of the kind of job she does.

“I just don’t want anybody asking me who texted me, who called me, why are you wearing this, why are people saying this about me and all that”.
