I need to protect my brand – Kojo Antwi explains why he is very selective when it comes to collaborations

Legendary Ghanaian reggae/hilife Musician, Julius Kwadwo Antwi who is popularly known as Kojo Antwi has expounded much on why he is extremely mindful on the kind of artists he features on a song.

According to the Music Maestro, he needs to study and be interested in your works for a while before he agrees to collaborate with you. For instance, with King Promise and Stonebwoy, he had earlier monitored the kind of songs they do and how respectful they are in the music field before he accepted their featuring requests.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Mr. Music Man as affectionately called, said he does this to filter out his brand from other musicians because it took him a long period and perseverance to build such reputation, hence he has to maintain it the best he could.

“If I don’t like you, forget about working with me” he concluded.
