John Dramani Mahama, the former President of Ghana, organised a party for children in his hometown Saturday, December 26.
Mahama, earlier in the day with his family and other party executives, visited Bole in the Bole-Bamboi constituency to provide meals and other Christmas items to myriad of children, widows, others.
The largesse, which formed part of the former President’s annual celebration of the festive season for children, saw the children and those from the community in their best dresses to eat, drink and make merry.
In a post sighted by GistAfrica on the official Facebook page of the leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he said this has has been a tradition for many years, and one that he and his family look forward to.
“Many people have always welcomed me back home with prayers and outpouring of love, since my days as Member Of Parliament” he added.
