The final funeral rites of the former head of state and President of the Republic of Ghana, Ft. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings is underway.
A 3 day-long final bid program commencing Monday, January 25, to January 27, 2021 has been laid down to lay Rawlings to eternal rest.
Currently, his remains has been laid in-state at the premises of Accra International Conference Center (AICC) where friends and sympathizers pay their last respect.
Emotional photos and videos spotted on various traditional and social media platforms have myriad of dignitaries but most importantly, the late former President‘s wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Children, Kimathi Rawlings, Zenator Rawlings, Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings and other relatives in tears as they mourn their beloved.
