From the indigenous soil of Ashaiman, Ghanaian Dancehall Juggernaut, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known professionally as Stonebwoy, has bagged album of the year at the ReggaeVille Awards 2020.
The BHIMNATION President‘s recently released “Angloga Junction“ album was amassed highest votes, beating other giants like Projete, Lila Ike, Buju Banton and Bob Marley to emerge ReggaeVille‘s Album Of The Year 2020.
Anloga Junction was officially released on April. The 15-track power-packed album was one of 56 releases, which got nominated through an internal pre-selection. The voting panel involved 22 persons from TeamReggaeVille and other guests: Mattia (Warrior Sound International, Germany), Carter Van Pelt (USA), Shotta Paul (Jugglerz, Germany), Lukie Wyniger (SRF 3 Radio, Switzerland), Shrik Kotecha (DJ 745, UK) and MC Allgi (Sentinel Sound, Germany)
30 people submitted their favorite releases of 2020, a total of 160 different releases. 56 of these entries made it to the public voting. According to Reggaeville, they received 4500 votes from 1. 500 registered users during the 9th annual Reggaeville Poll. All users had to choose their top three releases of 2020.
Stonebwoy joins Samini to become the second Ghanaian reggae artist to win ReggaeVille Album Of The Year after the latter first won it in 2018.
